A little christmas cheer

Well it looks like the decorations are up at the Valentines residence,

The  wreaths have been placed on the windows and the door
Is that Santa on the roof already?

Seems the tree is decorated, the presents are wrapped and Mama has put out her special nativity set!
Hey where is everyone?
Ah here's grandpa Hart, seems he's found a quiet corner in the parlour to read.
Victoria and Conrad steal a quiet moment in their bedroom to talk and freshen up.
Nanny tries to get the baby to sleep while Elizabeth rocks her baby to sleep also.
Seems Sadie the cook has the kitchen back in order and is taking a well deserved coffee break
Looks like Abigail is satisfied that all is in order in the house and she is going to join Sadie in the kitchen, she does wish however that nanny Annie would find a better place to leave that stroller!
Seems even Grandma has found somewhere to have a moment to herself,  How about you? Do you need to give yourself a time out so to speak? Remember it's a season of joy, but we often run around like crazy and get so frazzled we don't enjoy this time the way we should! Sometimes just a few minutes of quiet can do wonders to restore our Spirit, Go ahead try it, I give you permission!

It seems the Ideals are ready as well, they've decked the tree and wrapped the presents and it looks like sister is playing some nice Christmas carols while the family enjoys the decorations.
It looks like the children have written their letter to Santa and left him a treat as well!
The kids, with Mamas help of course , have made their traditional gingerbread house, seems only thing left to do is wait for the big day, the children are bursting with anticipation and Mama and Papa are bursting with appreciation for the real gift.... JESUS      Till next time, Love and blessings to all

Hello everyone,

Well it's Christmas time again, my favorite time of the year and like many of you, I've spent this last week decking the halls, the walls, the floors, the doors, and everything else that didn't get out of the way, ha ha! I thought I would take a minute to share some pictures and to say I hope this is a season of great joy for you all. In all the hustle and bustle I hope you will all take a moment to remember Jesus is the reason for the season. Love and blessings to all,
                                                                                                                          Teresa

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone,
I hope you all are having a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, good food, family and lots of blessings! My husband and I are on our own this thanksgiving since all my family headed to Georgia this year to be with my great nephew Cody. Of course we were invited but I have an elderly dog and my husband has a new business that requires all his attention right now, so it's off to Perkins or Cracker Barrel for us, but when I checked in with the little peeps, things were really cooking!!
Would ya'll like to see? Let's check in with the Valentines first.
Well it looks like grandma and grandpa have arrived and Victoria greets them at the door, meanwhile...
Sadie, the cook has been hard at work getting the food ready for the family and the staff
The table is set and the food is finally ready of course there's turkey and all the fixings
And pies and cake Oh my, what more could you ask for? ( better pictures, hee hee)
Abigail takes one last look to make sure everything is perfect
Finally the whole family gathers round the table ,every one bows their heads and gives thanks and  its time to eat, Elizabeth can hardly wait to dig in.
The servants all gather in the kitchen, along with baby Darla to share their thanksgiving bounty.
Looks like cook even gave the animals a nice plate of Turkey and gravy, now every one is happy!!
Meanwhile over at the Ideal household, it looks like they have settled into their new house nicely.
Pete's in his favorite easy chair enjoying the morning paper wondering how long before that turkeys ready?
It seems they have plenty of room for the baby grand piano now and since it's no longer crammed in the corner , Patti plays more often and it's easier for the twins to practice their lessons.

Mother loves her new bedroom it even has a fireplace, nice huh?
everything fits beautifully in the new bathroom, Patti loves her swanky tub, she takes nice long hot baths in there at the end of the day.( Calgon take me away)
The twins are enjoying their new room while waiting for Mother to call them to dinner.
The whole family has really enjoyed their new patio and Patti has been doing a little gardening out here.
The dining room is just the right size for family meals and it looks like Patti finally decided to put something in that china cabinet.
Ah, here's Mother, looks like dinner is almost ready, She calls the twins,
They quickly come down and help set the table, they can't hardly wait to sit down to dinner
Yum, mother has the food on the table and it's time for everyone to gather round. she doesn't have to tell them twice!!  We all wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving! Love and blessings till next time
The valentines, The Ideals and of course Teresa.

A word of encouragement and a few favourite things

Hello everybody!!
I was just checking out some blogs and I came across one where the lady was saying how happy she was that the year was winding down because it had been such a difficult one. I could relate because my husband and myself have just gotten over quite a difficult time in our lives also, this year has been pretty good, but we had several years of great financial difficulty as well as the sickness and death of his parents. This made me wonder how many of you are in a difficult season right now? And I just wanted to share a word of encouragement with you.
The first thing I wanted to say to you is to remember that what your going through is a season and seasons change, the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. Can you remember a time in the past that was difficult and you thought it would never end? But it did! and the feelings that were so intense at the time subsided and eventually life was Ok again, yes even if it was altered permanently,( i.e, death, divorce etc.) Yes dear reader this too shall pass.
The second thing I wanted to say is,  Cast all your care on him (God) for he cares for you.  1Peter 5:7 , Your heavenly Father loves you more than you know , he wants you to talk to him and invite him in to every area of your life, yes even the messes, I promise he will show up for you and Make a way where there seems to be no way, I have personally experienced this over and over again!
The third thing is cling to his promises,  If  God has said that He shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in Glory, Phillipians 4:19 and that He is for us and not against us Romans 8:31, and that he has made us more than conquerors through Jesus Christ, Romans 8:37 then we have great reason to be encouraged!
Ok, perhaps you've read all this and your saying right now, well that all sounds nice but I don't know God like that, I don't even know where to begin, John  3:16 tells us  That God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten son that whosoever shall believe in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life and in Romans 10:9,10 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead , you shall be saved For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 says for whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
It's so simple dear reader don't wait another minute, simply pray this prayer, Father I believe that Jesus Christ is your only begotten son who died for my sins and that you have raised him from the dead, I repent of my ways and I ask Jesus to be lord of my life, I do confess Jesus as Lord, Amen. Now find your self a Bible based church and be baptized and continue to learn who you are in Christ.
If you live anywhere near Apopka, FL, I cordially invite you to my church, Word Of Life where I promise it's never boring and you always learn something!
Now for those of you who may be in a place of thinking I just don't believe that or I don't know if this is right or true, I have a challenge for you, ask God to show you if this is real, if He really exists, would he please make himself known to you, go ahead, be brave!! He loves you and wants you for his very own and he is not afraid of your questions SO ASK!!
If you have been helped by any of this please let me know in the comments and with that I'm leaving you with some pictures of a few of my favorite things. Till next time, Love and blessings to you all
