Love Is In The Air!

Hello Friends,

Well it's Valentines day and I do hope you are all having a great one! 24 yrs. ago on a cool and rainy Valentines day, I married my forever Valentine, I said I do and I still mean it after all these years!

And speaking of Valentines. it would appear that the Valentine house is all decked out and ready to celebrate

There's Cakes and presents and cards and Elizabeth can hardly wait to open the presents!

There's hearts of candy and roses for Victoria from Conrad

Then there was dancing, first with Elizabeth and then with Mama

and finally Conrad has his sweet Victoria all to himself

But wait........what is this?

aah... just one more of Papa's favorite girls.........now where is that nanny?

Happy, Happy Valentines everybody!!
Till next time
Love and blessings to you all,
Teresa

P.S.  I promise one day I'm going to figure out how to take pictures of my miniatures without blurring them.....in the meantime thank you for being patient ; -) I think part of my problem is I don't have a tripod and my hand is not steady..aaargh! Any suggestions? Well please do leave me comments, as I really do look forward to them and I will chat with you again soon

  1. How sweet! I know you would like clearer pictures. But when I see it look like this it makes me realize it is in the past during the Victorian period. So it is like a faded memory if you know what I mean. :-)
    Happy Anniversary and Valentines Day!

  2. Hi Teresa, we were definitely thinking alike when we named our posts, did you see mine with the same title? How funny!
Your post is very sweet, I always love seeing your dollhouse and hearing your dollhouse world stories.
Do you have a light on your camera that turns green when it is ready to take a photo? If the light is red you will get a blurry photo every time.
Take care and Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm going to go look at your post right now. Thanks for the input, I will pay attention next time to see if my camera gives me a red light..... This whole picture thing is such a challenge for some reason, but I'm determined to figure it out! Anyways hope you have a very happy Valentines

  5. What a sweet Valentine's party for your wee little family ! Everything is so perfect , makes me want to shrink to fit.

I have some trouble with my blurry pics too, for me it is probably the quality of my camera and definitely when my camera battery is almost drained the shots are blurry. Even if you're having trouble with blurring, your pictures are very nice.

  6. Thank you so much Kathy for your kind words and encouragement, I do hope I can figure out how to take better pictures and I wonder if the battery could be my problem also, since I rarely think to check it until it dies...woops ;-0 . I sometimes wish I could shrink small enough to fit in my dollhouses too, since their world is definitely more perfect than mine, hehe! Kathy, thanks so much for joining me and have a blessed week

  7. Nice story. Yes, it is disappointing when photos don't turn out clearly or have a bright reflection spot on them as happens to my photos.

  8. I just love this! There's something about tiny life-like things that makes me feel like I am reading a wonderful romantic novel.

  9. How very beautiful... Your words and sentiments of your true love.... That photograp of the two of you, the moment kept intact forever more. And it seems as it was just yesterday , doesn't it. Sweet memories forever treasured in the wings of time.
