A Non Wedding Reception?

Hello everybody,

Hope you are all having a great day!  Do you all remember this from the last post?
Well it seems miss Celestine informed all the bride girls that she had been all over the house and that there wasn't a single groom doll anywhere. She then preceded to ask them how long they had been sitting around in those dresses waiting for these imaginary grooms? OH CELESTINE! When I asked her why she told them this, she giggled and said, well somebody has to tell them darling, yes? Now let me tell you, the bride girls were upset to say the least and demanded to have their day, groom or no groom!
Well since it was raining here all day, I decided what better time to appease them, so we set about having a non wedding reception!
So we decorated and the girls walked the aisle

Then the girls posed for pictures with their cake ( a real cup cake which my husband was happy to eat after it's photo op, hehe)

Then the girls raised a glass and toasted each other

And then Celestine joined them to do a little dancing

I guess all that dancing made Celestine thirsty?

And while Celestine quenched her thirst the girls continued to dance the night away!

Uh Celestine... you didn't dance enough to be that thirsty!
Darling...this champagne is terrible no? weak as water!!
( she doesn't know it's only sparkling cider!!)

Well it seems a good time has been had by all here today!! Celestine , raise a glass of cheer to all our friends out there in blog land!
CLINK, CLINK!!
Till next time love and blessings to you all,
Teresa and Celestine

P.S. Thank you for joining me on these silly doll adventures and please do leave comments as I so look forward them! Cherio!

  4. I enjoyed the wedding of sorts, even without a groom it looked like they were having fun ! That largest doll is absolutely beautiful, she outshines the rest, but don't tell them I said so. [ don't want any hurt feelings] And that Celestine, well she's something ! Barbara

  5. Thanks Barbie,
Yes, that doll is the oldest one and I think she is of French origin. I think she is the prettiest too, but don't worry, my lips are sealed ;-)
As for Celestine, sometimes she is just so naughty!!
    Love Ya,
